The most wonderful early 19th century George III carved Bath stone fragment figure of a centaur. Most probably originally part of a coat of arms and influenced by the Elgin Marbles, purchased by the British Crown from Lord Elgin and displayed in the British Museum in 1816. Displayed on a later stand old repair to the tail.
