A wonderfully decorative, George III period pine linen press from the attic of Chillington Hall, Staffordshire. In pretty much untouched condition, standing on its original bracket feet, with internal sliding shelves and one fixed shelf, the base with four cockbeaded drawers. This retains its mid 19th century paint, with traces of its original scumble underneath, the whole wonderfully weathered and worn, I simply adore the over scale handles which appear to be original.
