A really beautiful and large scale, early 20th century composition stone birdbath by the Bromsgrove Guild. Depicting Pan playing his flute to a frog, so evocative of the era.
Founded by Walter Gilbert in 1898 the Bromsgrove Guild of Applied Arts was a company of artists and designers associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement, working in many materials, their most famous work being the gates at Buckingham Palace.
