Regency Original Painted Pine Chevrette

A truly wonderful, original painted pine 'chevrette' or writing table, after a design by Thomas Sheraton. The lift off top section, with drawers and hoop handle, the base standing on fine tapered legs with cross stretchers and single long drawer. The whole retains its original painted decoration and lion faced handles ( one old replacement ).
