George II Lead Bust By John Cheere
A fine and rare, George II lead bust on marble socle of Henry St John, 1st Viscount Bolingbroke ( 1678 – 1751 ) most probably sculpted by Louis Francois Roubiliac and cast by John Cheere circa 1738. Beautifully modelled, finely cast and in very good condition.
