A truly beautiful and rare pair of early 19th century classically inspired terracotta urns attributed to Blanchard. Of good scale and finely cast , with guilloche decoration running around the middle, bold handles and an egg and dart rim. Although not stamped, these urns show characteristics in design, form and construction of material to other Blanchard urns.
