Large George III Marble Fireplace Fragment ( sold )
A beautiful and well executed, George III period, marble fireplace fragment of large proportions. Carved in high relief, depicting three putti, or amorini, bearing garlands of fruit, flowers and vegetables. In good condition, with some small chips and nibbles, no cracks, there would have been another half garland to the left hand side as you look at it, which is now lost.
