Pair Of Coade Stone Ionic Capitals ( sold )
A rare pair of early 19th century Coade stone Ionic capitals. Finely cast, the scrolled ends with moulded line detail , the sides centred with Anthemion over a bold egg and dart border, very similar Coade examples can be found on the exterior of the British Museum ( please see last image ) In generally very good condition, couple of repairs.
