Large Scale 19th Century Cast Iron Goats Head Garden Urn ( sold )
A fine. beautiful and large scale, mid 19th century French cast iron garden urn. With Goats head handles, all over decoration incorporating swags, egg and dart borders etc the whole with traces of its wonderful original paint. You can find another example of this cast iron urn residing in the Sculpture garden of the Louvre, Paris.
Generally in very good condition, small loss to one handle, repair to the top of the other handle.
