A Pair Of Early 18th Century Original Painted Overdoors From Weald Hall Essex
A stunning pair of large, early 18th century pine overdoors. Beautifully and boldly carved, each with a moulded pediment over scrolled capitals, with formal leaf swags of laurel leaves and berries united by a tied ribbon, the whole dry scraped back to reveal many layers of beautiful 18th century paint.
